Tom leads the Portfolio Resource Group (PRG), a dedicated consulting arm of Amulet Capital Partner, a middle market Private Equity firm specializing in Healthcare investing. Tom and the PRG team's focus is to support the Amulet portfolio companies in value creation and executive team performance through their Path-to-Value process. Tom is a seasoned business executive with a unique finance, strategy, and operations background developed through a long tenure in critical business driver positions such as private equity portfolio company CFO and CEO, private equity operating partner, M&A Practice leader consultant, and board member. He is an experienced operator with several roles with full P/L responsibility and a history of increasing shareholder value. Prior to joining the Portfolio Resource Group, Mr. Taylor was a consulting partner from 2012 to 2022 for EY, BCG and Oliver Wyman where he served Private Equity clients in a number of capacities, including operational diligence, portfolio company value creation and operational sell-side support. He started several different practices at these firms during this 10-year period which provided differentiated service capabilities to his clients. From 2005 to 2012, Mr. Taylor was a Managing Director and Operating Partner with JLL Partners. Mr. Taylor played a leadership role as part of JLL Partners’ operating partner team and served portfolio company management teams with value creation support and management development. From 1996 to 2004, Mr. Taylor was a CFO and CEO at two portfolio companies sponsored by other Private Equity firms. Prior to that, Mr. Taylor served in several financial officer roles, including Kraft Foods.EducationMr. Taylor holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame (1990), where he was class valedictorian and a BS in Accounting from Miami University (1980).
