Directs high-profile strategic project teams with program management, sales engineering and customer support leadership while continuing the Project Management Director duties.

Drive excellence in the project management practice area.Define and maintain job categories, descriptions, training, and compensation ranges that providea career path within the project management practice area.Define, maintain, and drive implementation of standard practices as required for work in theproject management practice area.Directly manage the regional leads in the project management practice area.Responsible for all hiring/firing/promotions/etc in the project management practice area with theconstant goal of providing the highest quality staff.Work with other Directors in the Tech Services Department and the CTO to identify, evaluate, andimplement process improvements that result in improved efficiency and improved product for ourcustomers.Provide direct support to key client and company initiatives as required.Other duties:Scheduling, managing, & coordinating the available labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, technical expertise.Perform site visits in the pre-planning phase. Discuss design options with clients to determine system requirements.Design and propose AV systems.Manage the day-to-day operations of all assigned projects. Communicate with management in advance about staffing requirements. Coordinate & approve equipment & product needs with the purchasing department. Interact with Sales, the Client, and Installation Teams & Management.
