Thomas concentrates his practice on representing and counseling regional and national employers in all aspects of traditional and contemporary labor and employment law. He has extensive experience defending employers in individual and multiple plaintiff cases brought under Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). His labor practice includes the representation of employers before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), labor arbitrations, union organizing and labor negotiations. Thomas also has provided advice and guidance on issues arising from mergers and acquisitions, plant closures, relocations and other business reorganizations.
