Worked with EnviroComms on behalf of Wirral Council to undertake a review of local waste services.Wirral Council support their residents by providing additional wheelie bins for general rubbish, to those that require it. This is normally to accommodate periods when people generate unusually large amounts of general rubbish (such as nappies). However, it is not uncommon to find that when people have this extra capacity for rubbish, they use this rather than recycle. This project involved visiting over 4,000 properties and assessing whether the residents required additional rubbish bins and if they were recycling correctly. The position required the ability and willingness to engage confidently with members of the public in a clear and assertive manner, great organisational skills and the ability to perform under strict time deadlines while maintaining a high quality of work.

Worked closely with clients including M&S, Currys PC World and Primark to complete projects to a high quality. Required strong communication skills to cooperate with fellow tradesmen and meet a shared goal. No two projects were ever the same, so quick and effective problem solving was required. Most ambitious project was a 3 month long complete renovation of Rotterdam Footlocker.

Employed as a Fieldwork Technician for microbial tracer studies at selected bathing water sites across the northwest to test for compliance with parameters defined by the Water Framework Directive. Involved in 24hr sampling of water, requiring a high level of safety awareness for myself and sampling partner. Accurate chain of custody and professional sampling record keeping was essential.

Worked as a bartender and waiter, ensuring that all orders were taken and served correctly. Involved cash handling and serving customers directly to ensure that they were satisfied with their meals and service.
