As a Supplier Contracts Apprentice, I am a point of contact for our Framework/Key suppliers which we use at Severn Trent Services. I ensure to uphold strong relationships with our suppliers and also focus on supplier savings, especially when processing payment applications, to achieve the best value for money. I assist my manager in various tasks regarding sending out tenders and tender analysis. When an internal stakeholder approaches the Supplier Contract Management Team, I assist them with their needs by recommending/contacting suppliers, this may be to receive quotes in order to meet the needs of the business.Alongside working, I have completed the CIPS Level 4 Diploma as part of my apprenticeship.

While working at The Larder On Goosegate, a Michelin rated restaurant, I helped prepare food in the kitchen before a shift, while ensuring kitchen hygiene and cleanliness were maintained. My role also included making and plating desserts for customers while upholding a fine attention to detail to align with the restaurants standards. Alongside this, I assisted with the pot wash to make sure all kitchen equipment, plates and cutlery were cleaned to the highest standard.

During my time volunteering as a Sports Leader, I helped to prepare sports sessions and carry out Sports and games alongside my peers. We conducted sports classes for people within my secondary school, to try and increase the participation rates for Physical Exercise. It was a great experience and it helped me improve my confidence and leadership alongside improving my public speaking.
