Product offering was targeted to small customers/start-ups allowing them to compete in the global M2M market. Features include Cellular radio(GSM/EDGE/UMTS/HSPA+/CDMA/EVDO/LTE), GPS, SIM socket, and high efficiency switching power supply.• Designed a Linux SBC that incorporated the Janus Plug-in series radios with standard PC interfaces including 802.3 10/100Ethernet, USB 2.0 Host and Device ports, RS-232 Serial ports, RS-485, CAN and GPIO (Digital and Analog).• Designed a Cortex-M4 microprocessor based product for applications that required embedded standalone C application but did not require the power of a Linux based O/S. The product was designed around the Janus Plug-in series radios. Features included OTG USB, RS-232, RS-485, CAN, Accelerometer and GPIO (Digital and Analog).• Hardware designs including GSM/EDGE/UMTS/HSPA+/CDMA/EVDO/LTE Modules, GPS, Cortex/ARM9/8051 Micro-Processors, CPLDs, Switching Power Supplies.• Experience with Embedded Cellular Modules From Telit Wireless, Nokia, Siemens and Sony Ericsson.• Responsible for product certifications. Including documenting design procedures and lab requirements insuring our productsare lab ready.
