I’m a passionate communicator with over a decade worth of experience working with international media outlets, aid agencies and governments. Everyone has a story to tell and my skill is bringing it to life. A dual Canadian and British national, I’ve lived and worked in 7 different countries over three continents. My career in storytelling started out in journalism with the Associated Press, but it wasn’t long before I travelled beyond the newsroom to work as a field producer and foreign correspondent in East Africa for CNN, Associated Press, SKY News and many more. It was during this time that I expanded my skills and experience in news and media to work with aid agencies and NGO’s to help them communicate the important work they’re doing across the region. From creating audio visual content for UNICEF, to leading a team of multi media professionals in Somalia developing strategic communications for the African Union and UN. From the hustle and bustle of East Africa I relocated to the shores of Western Canada in 2016. At the UK High Commission I’m dedicated to highlighting the relevant and important bilateral relationship between our two nations. Canada and the UK may have deep historical connection but the relationship is more relevant and important today now more than ever. The story continues and I will keep finding new and innovative ways to tell it.
