Inventory Cycle Counting by hand with only a pencil and clipboard. This means that I created accurate totals on the distribution center’s inventory from A-Z while employed there. Inventory counts changed hour by hour, because of bulk products constantly being shipped from our distribution center to their intended destinations in stores. CVS Pharmacies do not have a stock room area. Therefore accurate counts were a necessity because when one item was sold and left the store that same item had to be replaced in the next day's shipment, this left no room for errors. I worked in this position with a small crew of only 9-11 individuals and serviced the company's entire regional chain of Pharmacies in the South Western portion of the United States. I stayed at this position until I was hurt using a Cherry Picker in tight quarters.

Sold beds as a sales person and later was promoted to a manager of my own company store, where I oversaw other sales people and mentored them to meet our monthly sales goals. I Handled most customer service issues by phone or in person. These issues most often involved a strong commitment to the customer’s home delivery needs and final satisfaction. When needed, I worked on customer service issues both in the store and on my days off. I met all store goals and broke the sales record in the regions worst selling store and then was promoted again into one of the companies best selling stores in the regional area. I opened and closed the store, set the alarms, did the books at night after closing and made sure that my sales people did the exact same thing on my days off without fail. I stayed with Mattress Discounters until about the time they decided to drop out of their West Coast chain and return back to their roots on the East Coast where they began.
