My primary responsibility was to ensure that the HVAC, Metasys building automation, plumbing and electrical systems are to code, maintained, and operating safely and efficiently. I was also responsible for technical review and coordination of all projects involving HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Building automation system.

A great experience making a lot of good things happen. Managed first in the New York State Community Distributed Generation projects; 3 years of leadership in process and project management during rapid expansion. I had the great opportunity to play a key role in making so many new and exciting things happen at Renovus, and in the local renewable energy industry. In my role as Director of Project Management I advised the development team on project budgeting and lead on every element of pre and post projects development elements: site evaluation, design, logistics, procurement, engineering, subcontracting, commissioning and interconnection. From Utilities and NYSERDA acceptance, to managing client expectations, to negotiations with distributors and subcontractors, to presenting projects to Planning and Town Boards, I took point on pushing and delivering seamless turnkey projects that stood to the Renovus standard of quality; all while navigating the rapidly changing rules governed by NYSERDA, Utilities, and Code Officials.

In my role as Commercial Project Manager, I worked closely with Leadership to develop a process of managing, value engineering, procuring, and constructing commercial/community Solar PV projects. With myself on design/build and Melissa Kemp on policy and development, the commercial/community capacity of Renovus Solar was born to deliver the first NYS Community Distributed Generation solar PV project. My responsibilities started with building out the relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and entities needed to make the concepts come together. I assisted the Development team in securing project contracts through work scope development, project cost estimating, and turnkey design and delivery. Within the process, and with the help of Brice Smith, I evaluated utility circuit capacity. From there I evaluated sites and developed a preliminary design, project scope, and budget. Once the project was contracted, I worked point on permitting, final design, procurement, safety, and utility interconnection. Managing multiple concurrent projects from site selection to O&M scope and implementation, I worked with the Project Develop team to detail project budgeting and scope and delivered expectations to all stakeholders. from development through post-construction management.
