My research studies the economics of innovation as it relates to the clean energy transition, and it aims to understand how we might manage this transition in an efficient, effective, smooth, and fair fashion.I have enjoyed taking advantage of new opportunities across the country: at Harvard, in Texas, and now in my new home of Berkeley, CA. Some of my recent accomplishments include:► Working with the European Innovation Council to measure innovation as one of seven teams selected for their ongoing datathon.► Conducting research with supervision from top economists. At the Energy Institute, I aid in developing research designs for the ongoing “Paying for Electricity” project.► Discovering experimental evidence of moral licensing for environmental goods I ran experiments in the Berkeley xLab, finding that participants donate up to 15% less to environmental charities after using paper straws.► Identifying >$100M in financial impact for a Fortune 500 energy company using elasticity analysis and price optimization ► Graduating magna cum laude from Harvard in May 2021, with a major in Applied Mathematics (emphasis: economics) and a minor in Chemistry Thor Larson
