Continuously worked to provide, and maintain features for GigJam. Working across the design and engineering teams to create a valuable product. Feature work includes:Linking / Redaction UI improvement:Responded to customer feedback and redesigned two of the major interactions for the product: redaction and linking. Users were frustrated with the unforgiving process of redaction so it was simplified, and put into a dedicated mode that gave much finer control. Similarly the access point and process of linking cards was drastically simplified. One of the key issues with linking was its lack of discoverability, and now it's a click away from the card menu. These enhancements address key usability issues and not only make the product easy to use, but fun.Expiration / Subheader feature:Drove the client team to create two new features for the product. Gig expiration is a market response to the new trend of ephemerality in apps, giving users the power to share without the burden of maintaining that information. The subheaders provide a consistent but dynamic framework for cards to perform contextual actions. Together these changes simply the flow of the product and empower customers.Triaging, PM subbing, demo:Acted as a core member of the PM team, making time-sensitive decisions and assisting other PMs as needed. Led client triage and focused on addressing issues with the greatest user and business impact. While other PMs on the team were out, acted in their place and made decisions in their place, allowing teams to continue development uninterrupted. As a reliable team member, other PMs know they can count on me, and I can act as a leader in their place.
