I am a senior student majoring in Computer Science at the University of Washington Bothell. During my academic years, I solved a variety of challenges in Computer Science that I have never thought that they would exist. I love the way where I can only need to have a computer to solve everything. I love the characteristic of Computer Science where I can think of multiple solutions to a problem. And when I advance higher in my education, I realize that there are more to Computer Science that I can even imagine. And I want to be able to explore all of them.Some of the interesting problems that I worked on at UW Bothell were: - I implemented 5 different hash functions for a hash table and used statistical methods in order to choose the optimal one. To be specific, I calculated the variance, the mean squared error and pick the function that has the best distribution - I created a Sudoku Solver using a genetic algorithm where I randomly "mutate" (or insert numbers) into the puzzle. In this project, I used Object-Oriented methodologies including Design Patterns to promote encapsulation. During the project, I used Git in order to save a copy of my project and to compare the difference between multiple iterations. - I worked in a team project for creating a proposal for a semi-autonomous vehicle. For this project, I created class diagrams, activity diagrams and risk management plan. I also identified functional and non-functional requirements for the project.During my time at UW Bothell, I acquired these following skills: - Languages: C++, Java, Python and SQL - Tools: Git, SQL Server, BlueJ, CLion, IntelliJ IDEA, Visual Studio - Operating Systems: Linux/Unix (Ubuntu) and Windows - Methodologies: UML Diagrams, ER Diagrams, SDLC, Agile, OOD
