Providing customer support for development of liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry based small molecule analysis in forensic, clinical, environmental as well as metabolomics and lipidomics field. Continuous collaboration and interaction with industry and academic institute to provide best support and expanding application opportunity of the Sciex instrumentation in the field.

The ARC Training Centre for Hyphenated Analytical Separation Technologies (HyTECH) has at its core a research and training program to deliver highly skilled, innovative, industry-ready analytical scientists, equipped to tackle the most challenging analytical science questions across a diversity of the nation’s research and development priority areas, from advanced manufacturing to food and natural products, agribusiness, and the spectrum of environmental and health sciences.

My main responsibility is managing metabolomics and lipidomics projects in biomedical research. During past years, one of my major achievements is establishing lipidomics platform in Metabolomics Australia. My major role involved in client interaction, training and supervision of research collaborators and junior scientists as well as students. In addition, leading LCMS platform for small molecule and lipid analysis using targeted and untargeted approach. I have organized the first national lipidomics user group meeting in 2013 at Bio21 institute and contributed my lipidomics knowledge to the research community in biomedical research area.

I have joined CDCO in 2005 as bio analyst, involved in mass spectrometry method developing for pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism studies. My bio analytical capacity were across the development and validation of analytical methods for extraction of drug candidates in different type of biological matrices such as plasma, liver microsomes, tissues, blood and urine. My primary responsibilities were developing LCMS methods for analysis of small molecules, planning and managing analytical studies for drug metabolism. In addition, developing new in-vitro analytical platforms for drug- drug interaction and GSH adduct reaction studies.

Analytical method development and validation for generic pharmaceutical products (finished product) and raw materials for Assay, Content Uniformity, Dissolution and Related substances using HPLC and UV-Vis. My role also involved in writing up SOPs and validation protocols and reports according to FDA and TGA guidelines.
