Participated in PSWS 2023 as one of the water filter builders

I work as a Student Engineer at the Terminal Island Water Reclamation Plant. This experience has given me the opportunity to learn from skilled environmental professionals about the complex processes of a water treatment plant. In my role, I assist engineers with various special projects and programs. My tasks include:- Collecting, recording, organizing, and analyzing water quality data, consistently updating water quality reports. This improved the period for contractors and operators to complete their tasks efficiently by 50%.- Assisting in the preparation of program documents and technical reports.- Planning pilot tests for Chemically Enhanced Preliminary Treatment to control hydrogen sulfide in Plant Influent, which improved air quality by 80%.
