News veterans Joe and Therese Sehrt Duke formed 2 Dukes Media to help television stations and groups improve their operations, with a range of services including news writing and talent coaching, increased social media presence, client relations and event planning, and strong communication and interaction with their networks.

Supervised staff of producers creating material from CBS News broadcasts for use by affiliate stations to promote CBS News. Duties included establishing and maintaining excellent client relations between the CBS Network and its affiliates and presentations in corporate boardrooms and local newsrooms on behalf of CBS News. Duties also included advising the Chairman and President of CBS News with regard to affiliate matters, arranging for appearances by CBS News personalities, resolving issues and concerns between the network and the affiliates and acting as a conduit for ideas from the affiliates to the network.

Originally hired as a freelance producer for the roll-out of server-based news video distribution system for CBS Newspath, the affiliate news organization of CBS News. Duties included advising CBS Newspath executives on a conversion strategy, then helping coordinate the training of affiliate producers around the country for an orderly transition to the new technology. Promoted to Director/Marketing as the chief liaison between CBS Newspath and CBS affiliates. Duties include traveling the affiliates to make presentations on behalf of Newspath, resolving issues between Newspath and the affiliates, and planning and executing affiliate conferences.

Served as an affiliate consultant to The Early Show on CBS News, was Northeast regional managing editor of Internet Broadcasting Systems (now IB) and Coordinating Producer, The Eyewitness Morning News on WWL-TV in New Orleans, Louisiana.
