Logistic & Workforce Management - Responsible for the movement of spectators to and from a venue ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2022

Leading and coordinating the planning, administration and delivery for venue transport operations of within the Transport Department . Responsible for the Brisbane Competition Venues with the transition to taking full responsibility of a specific venue for Games Time operations and delivery. Working closely with transport delivery partners (Brisbane City Council, Transport & Main Roads, Event City Local Authorities and other key transport stakeholders) to ensure an integrated and holistic approach is planned for transport within, around and adjacent to Venues for Games Family, Spectators & Workforce and nongame related residents and local businesses.

The role of Event Coordinator is to manage the planning and delivery of all activities and events at the Sleeman Sports Complex and to ensure activities and events are achieved within budget and in compliance with SQ’s financial practices, administrative procedures and timeframes. Other responsibilities include - Understand and apply current legislation and governance arrangements pertaining to the operations and administration of a multi-purpose venue.  - Provide relevant information and instruction to hirers on Workplace Health and Safety compliance and other legislative requirements.  - Develop event quotes and ensure event invoices are raised in-line with SQ procedures.  - Monitor event operations and liaise with staff to ensure consistency of quality and overall business approach. .  - Develop & implement key planning documents and procedures for events, including event operational plans, risk management plans, security and police attendance, tenancy.  - Coordinate and supervise the Event Day Staff and Customer Service Staff (front of house).  - Assist with recruitment, induction and training of Event Day Staff and as required. Event Delivery  - Supervise both in-house and externally supplied event day staff. - Maintain current business relationships and assist in developing new business to ensure the financial viability of the venue.  - Maintain and develop positive and effective working relationships with hirer’s, key stakeholders and tenants at the Venue.
