Automation Engineer
CurrentCircuitHub is a YC backed company. My role as an automation engineer is to build and commission process improving hardware into our manufacturing facility. This involves identification and breakdown of the manufacturing processes we wish to automate and improve so that I can design, build and commission hardware that can operate at the improved specifications. Once the hardware is built and tested, I commission it into a live manufacturing environment to replace or improve the standard operation while supporting and troubleshooting challenges as they arise. Commissioning requires close work with software and hardware engineers on the team to coordinate the equipment’s integration and scale up into production. Once commissioned in the facility, I am required to create operator manuals, training programs, operation procedures, maintenance schedules, safety protocols and train on site staff to manage the equipment without my supervision.
