I help corporations provide a better experience for internal and external customers by improving and streamlining processes throughout the order to cash life cycle.Many years of experience working in the corporate space as a cash, collections and deductions specialist has given me the ability to learn the inter-workings of each department and realize the work done on the front-end will affect how much and how soon a corporation will get paid for that work and determine the additional manpower needed to resolve a dispute.I've worked on many projects to clean up accounts receivable and quickly learned there would be no projects to clean up if there were better processes and systems in place. Even applying cash became increasingly difficult for me because the pertinent information wasn't taken into consideration when the order was placed causing additional unnecessary research. I then began working with different areas of the business to understand and document pain points and struggles in doing the job as well as explaining and documenting mine. This led to me making recommendations to upper management on process improvements to compliment the departments and reduce manual work.By correcting inefficiencies on the front-end, corporations are able to implement more automation, eliminate non-value-added work to maximize time, reduce the amount of deductions taken on invoices, bring more cash in the door sooner and provide a better turnaround time for customers.
