My greatest passion in life is Dance. I have been in several aspects of the dance world ranging from: teaching and coaching youth, 20 years of cheerleading to competing on a nationally televised dance series, touring around the world, musical theater, commercials, movies, tv, and other aspects of the entertainment industry. My extensive background in dance sparked a desire within the injury prevention and rehabilitation aspects of physical activity. After receiving a B.S. in Kinesiology, I completed a Sports Rehab/ Physical Therapy Aide program at the Southern California Health Institute that also allowed me to earn a California Massage Therapy certification. It was there I discovered a newfound passion for assisting the healing process not only with physical therapy modalities but also by way of massage. Since graduating I've had the honor of working as a Physical Therapy Aide at an outpatient physical therapy facility, a sports/athletic massage therapist , both boutique and corporate gym spas, and a chiropractors facility. My goal is to obtain a masters in dance/movement therapy as well as a doctorate of physical therapy to bring my non profit injury prevention/ rehabilitation center for dancers, athletes, and performers to life.
