Taught intermediate and advanced ESL students. Designed lessons that focused primarily on academic reading and writing skills as well as vocabulary, in order to help students prepare to pass their core classes and end of course exams. Also served as advisor for the Hispanic students' club.

Taught two sections of Basic ESL to students of other languages, focusing on reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. Taught five sections of World Geography and Culture. Served as co-advisor of chess team.

Taught 8th grade regular and ESL levels of U.S. government and history, as well as one section of 7th grade Hawaiian Monarchy for three years. For one year, taught 6th grade English, math, and world history. Worked with other teachers on a team in planning units and extra-curricular activities. Served as a class level advisor for two years and as a team leader for one year.

Taught 9th graders world civilizations and culture which focused on western world civilizations such as the Mesopotamians, Egyptians, Greeks, Romans and the European Middle Ages and Renaissance. Served as 9th grade advisor and Mock Trial advisor.
