I've been fascinated with what motivates PEOPLE my entire life. In elementary school, I was always the kid asking “Why?” To me, to know is to understand and when you understand then you can relate. After college I went to work in the real estate securities industry and though I loved the PEOPLE aspect of my job and the lucrative opportunities that it brought. It also taught me that nothing is certain and after the real estate industry crash well so did we.Then I took a job with ClubCorp at Coto de Caza Golf & Raquet Club. I also enjoyed the fact that since ClubCorp was so big and had a club in the Kansas City area that I later had the opportunity to relocate with my family to Overland Park. I’m originally from the Ozarks and I knew Overland Park would be a great place to raise a family. After much research I became fascinated with the PEO industry and accepted a job offer with Fortune Business Solutions in their Overland Park office. It was here that I found my passion. I absolutely LOVED the concept and saw the exceptional value that it provided to businesses. I got to go out and meet PEOPLE, find out about their challenges, their goals and began helping several businesses right away.In 2015, I left Fortune and chose to primarily because though I loved what I was doing and the PEOPLE in the businesses that I got to work with, I realized my passion really resided in the PEOPLE and exceptional level of service that a PEO can provide to a business so that they can rest easy. Some PEOs are technology focused, some are sales focused and some are client service focused. The key for me at the end of the day is RELATIONSHIPS and HELPING PEOPLE solve problems! In the summer of 2016, I started Silver Lining Solutions so I could help ALL types of businesses. Large and small and near or far. We specialize in PEO and HR consulting solutions that are customized to your business needs and directly impact your bottom line.
