I connected with Slug Global Creative, Sheyla King, and assisted in projects taken on by the company. The first was the Shein activation at One Music Fest 2023. Our activation featured a roller skating rink, an airbrushed tote bag customization section, a photo booth, and a product giveaway. I helped execute the activation, particularly the giveaway section. I managed lines and helped our brand ambassadors work the giveaway booth. When they needed breaks, I took over and when items got messy, I organized them to make the lines run more smoothly. When the crowds quieted down, I paced the activation area to gather survey respondents to gauge the activation experience personally.Another project I assisted with was the Hyundai It Girl commercial shoot. I helped wherever I could, from setting up props to checking up on and providing what production members and talent needed.Additionally, I assisted in a photo shoot for Christian rapper, Anike. I helped set up the space and picked up lunch for the crew.

I collaborated with my team in my Marketing Strategy class to develop and present and a marketing strategy plan for Piedmont Healthcare's e-newsletter "Living Real Change" to increase subscriptions among non-users. We leveraged existing and new partnerships with print and digital advertisements, social media, and activations. We created visual mockups using Canva. I played a large part in executing and coordinating our presentation.

After graduating high school, I started working at my mother's nail salon after seeing how hard she had been working for her business. I started as a receptionist and diligently trained to become a nail technician. After serving many customers first-hand, I built a clientele with whom I still keep in touch today. At the salon, I helped where I could to relieve some of the work pressures on my mom. I translated for co-workers, designed menus and signs, and accounted for end-of-day reports. I pursued marketing efforts out of my free will to benefit the salon. I managed our Google business profile and increased our star rating from 3.8 to 4.2 ongoing. With my graphic design skills, I designed a business logo and an updated business card. I also used Indeed to find and hire a new employee.

I was a marketing intern for AEG (Zero Mile) based in Atlanta. I had the incredible opportunity to put my skills into action, learn more about the company and the entertainment industry, and grow as a businesswoman. I helped to promote shows across music venues in Atlanta through our venues' socials. communicated with artist management, collaborated with our creative team for ad mats, created weekly show grids, and networked with digital marketers in the southeast region. I also worked as a press escort for Re:SET concert series. Tools I used include Meta Business Suite, Twitter, TikTok, Adobe Photoshop, Jira, Dropbox, Bitly, and Outlook. I also got a glimpse into Salesforce and paid social media advertisements.
