Hi! 👋🏼 It's nice to -virtually- meet you!I've worn quite a few hats in my working years...- Assistant newspaper deliverer 🗞 (filled in on my brother's route sometimes)- Child entertainment coordinator (babysitting, then later working at my friend's daycare, and then again as a mom)- Hostess & Waitress (everyone should work in the restaurant or retail biz at least once!)- Bank teller (Worked at the same bank that was "robbed" by the "Pizza Bomber" Never heard? You need to Google it!.. bizarre story🍕)- Resident Assistant (only busted one party in the 3 years I was an R.A.) 🍻- Marketing Intern (got some "real life experience" at a Rent-To-Own company, an Ad Agency, and at GE Transportation Systems)And this was all before I graduated college 😅My first job out of college was a Mgmt. Trainee for a large Transportation (🚂) company. Although not in line with my major, I learned quite a bit through that process. Mostly, that I didn't want to work with co-workers that told me, "I have underwear older than you..." It was definitely the "old boys club" and young women were not particularly welcomed.Did a few temp jobs until I landed on a Marketing Coordinator position at Time Warner Cable. 📺 Enjoyed that role for sure. I was able to oversee partnerships with various local teams/events/fairs. (I once donned a Sylvester costume for a local parade!) Coordinated the brand refresh at several of their customer service centers. Worked there during the merger with Adelphia. (Also, another great learning experience.)This is quite the story... I need to take a breath!Left TWC to work for a church.Left the church to help start another church.Did some side-hustles and did the stay-at-home mom thing.Worked at the church that I helped to start.Left that so that I could work normal hours, full time, and have benefits.I then was a Marketing & Operations Specialist at Lumious. Started off as a business admin coordinator (wearing lots of hats) and that evolved into a hybrid of admin/ops and marketing. I enjoyed it and the teams that I got to work with. Unfortunately, the company was going through some financial struggles and I, along with several of my co-workers, were laid off.Happy to be employed by GH Advertising, working exclusively for UPMC. I am a Marketing & Communications Specialist on the clinical marketing team for UPMC Hamot, UPMC Chautauqua, GLPP, and UPMC Kane.
