I am passionate about sharing culture, history, art, travel, and the marvels of Rome, whether it be through books for young readers, articles for the adventurous-minded, blog posts for those who wish to delve deeper, podcasts for listeners who dream of moving abroad, or guided tours for inquisitive travelers. Words—both written and spoken—are my vehicle of choice, allowing me to transport both myself and my audience across the world or back in time.I am an accomplished writer and editor, with over seven years of experience in the field, and my articles have appeared in numerous publications, from the Sydney Morning Herald to the Wall Street Journal Expat Blog. I head up the editorial team at WHERE Rome magazine, where I conceptualize the entire issue, cover-to-cover, every month. I'm the co-host and co-creator of The BitterSweet Life, a podcast dedicated to the joys and frustrations of the expat experience, and I blog about Rome's art, history, culture, and curiosities at The Pines of Rome. As a licensed tour leader, I lead private city walks around Rome, focusing on off-the-beaten-path sights, the underground city, lesser-visited museums, and themed walks on Bernini, Borromini, and Caravaggio. My first novel, MIDNIGHT IN THE PIAZZA, an art mystery for Middle Grade readers, has recently been acquired by HarperCollins Publishers, and will be released 6 March 2018.I am represented by John Silbersack at Trident Media Group.
