In my current position as the Regional Development Officer for Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services I solicit and cultivate donors and share the mission of the organization. I have over 800 active donors in my territory and I work intensely with over 50 major donors in my portfolio on major gifts, planned giving and multi-year pledges. I believe in building relationships with people that will encourage them to be life time supporters and not just one time donors. I have successfully solicited major gifts from individuals, foundations and churches. I have built strong relationships with church congregations and communicated how critical their support is for the ministry.

Hired to develop an alumni relations program for over 7,000 alumni at The UT School of Nursing. This includes creating a strategic plan, proposed budgets, managing committees and events. Managed the Signature Chefs of Austin gala which was the leading March of Dimes chef event in the nation from 2004-2008. Established and managed positive relationships with high level volunteers and committees. Generated over $2,400,000 in Signature Chefs revenue between 2004-2008 and kept expenses at or below 11%. Managed several corporate teams for March for Babies, helping to reach the $1,000,000 mark in 2006 and 2007. Presented on special events at three state wide and two national training sessions for the March of Dimes.
