Deputy G2 for Operations & Plans, responsible for intelligence operations, plans, training, exercises, and security cooperation. Integrates intelligence support to USAREUR operations, contingency plans and operations orders, exercises, and theater security cooperation objectives. Responsible for the organization and readiness of the G2 staff to serve in a Joint Forces Land Component Command (JFLCC) role and for the operations and readiness of any forward deployed mission command node. Responsible for the daily supervision, and performance evaluations of Soldiers, DA Civilians, and contractors.

Served as the Chief of the Strategy, Plans and Resources Division as well as the Chief of the Mexico Division before transitioning to the Deputy Director. Responsible for leading both military and civilian intelligence professionals in all aspects of planning, operations, training, and analysis & production in support of the Commander’s objectives. Managed strategic intelligence plans, allocated budgeting resources, directed military operations, and oversaw the hiring actions and personnel management and employee evaluation program.

Director of Intelligence for Alaskan Command and Joint Task Force-Alaska. Primary intelligence staff officer responding directly to the Commander’s intelligence requirements. Responsible for synchronizing all intelligence planning, training and operations in Alaska, across multiple commands, service components and with interagency partners. Advised the Commander and produced all-source intelligence on the full spectrum of threats, from strategic state-based to asymmetric terrorists, in order to inform the commander’s operational decision-making.

Battalion Commander of a Warrior Transition Battalion. Responsible for the health, welfare, recovery and timely return of our wounded warriors back into military service or into civilian life. Responsible for leading a civilian and military team of over 50 medical/staff personnel in the execution of the primary care and case management for over 200 wounded warriors. Developed operational plans and processes to facilitate the honorable and effective transition of our wounded warriors and support to their families.
