Offshore apparel specialist with a focus on investment promotion for textiles and apparel as an embedded advisor to the Governments of Tanzania and Ghana. Have also worked on promotion for Haiti, Ethiopia, Lesotho, Pakistan and Uganda. Started in sewing thread in Glasgow and India and then ran an offshore apparel outfit in Hong Kong from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, China and Oman before setting up and running garment factories in Mozambique and Jordan. Then moved into consultancy with government donors - USAID, IDB and The World Bank with projects in Haiti, Pakistan, Egypt, Lesotho, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Dom Rep.
