Joined the company to support their deployment to a number of protester held locations throughout the UK during periods of other companies commercial development or survey tasks.This involved the specialist removal of protesters from underground in man made tunnels, at height in tall trees. Other tasks involved being on standby within various compounds to do with oil survey companies. Most situations involved dealing face to face & hands on with at times, foreign violent protesters in seriously high risk situations.The company also maintained it deployment status for immediate specialist rescue for which close links with local government services were maintained & further specialist training received such as Commercial Diving, National Fire Fighting Course, Advanced Driving, Aviation Fire Fighting along with further medical expertise training & Swift Water Rescue.

Experienced in MARSEC having completed armed & unarmed transits within the Indian Ocean.Longest deployment was for 3 months as TL covering a great deal of the HRA with a Korean tuna fleet.Transits included bulk carriers, fuels, fishing vessels & a super yacht from Greece to Sri Lanka.All transits involved the sighting of suspected pirate activity with some approaches, which I might add, complying with the current ROE all were dissuaded from their suspected, potential intentions.Experience of ship break downs & drifting at sea, at times close to the Somali international limits afforded me further safety practices to be put in place to ensure the safety of the Captain & crew.
