Summary: Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to facilitate opportunities for TLU students to grow as global citizens and civic leaders through community service and civic engagement. Build and maintain partnerships with local leaders and community organizations to support meaningful and ongoing engagement. Job Functions:• Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with local leaders and community organizations• Train and advise faculty members in the best practices of civic engagement, developing resources and visiting classrooms when invited• Supervise Center for Servant Leadership (CSL) staff, including VISTA members and student workers• Oversee annual CSL events such as Day of the Dogs, HOT Dawgs, Water to Thrive, Watoto Project, Fair Trade Fair, Glocal Retreat, MS Bike Ride, and Alternative Spring Break• Direct ongoing TLU volunteerism and co-curricular civic engagement through regularly-scheduled CSL service opportunities and the PALS program• Educate campus and constituent communities in the theology and practice of servant leadership and global citizenship• Collaborate with other TLU employees and departments to improve the TLU student experience, particularly Campus Ministry, International Education, Mexican-American Studies Center, African-American Studies Center, Women’s Studies Center, and Student Life and Learning• Manage the CSL budget and write grants to support civic engagement programming, projects, and resources• Promote and direct the assessment, evaluation, and external reporting of civic engagement at TLU
