Summary: Through collective impact as well as an asset-based and client-centered approach, this position will provide direct technical assistance as well as manage contractual direct technical assistance providers to leaders of partner organizations in areas such as but not limited to board governance, financial management, outcomes based performance and grant writing. This position will focus on improving healthcare service delivery systems by addressing not only the quality of direct services and social determinants of health, but also by seeking to improve accessibility, accountability, and coordination among community partners and agencies in the service delivery area.Essential Duties:• Using an asset-based approach, will assess the technical assistance needs of partner organizations to improve quality, effectiveness, and efficiencies and create strategies for long term impact. • Using a results oriented learning approach, will connect partners with local community partners and/or MHM resources to promote collaborative partnerships to address technical assistance needs via learning communities.• Using a client-centered approach, will serve as a liaison to community and institutional resources, community leaders/experts and advocates assisting in building the capacity of partner organizations. • Using a balance of reflection and action to build capacity, will provide technical assistance to partners as needed, including coaching to strengthen people’s capacity to work collectively, dissemination of toolkits to provide actionable pathways to better fulfill their missions, and presentation of workshops which feed back to clients learnings from collaborative work. • Using a systems-oriented approach, advises MHM leaders and key staff on the processes and requirements for organizing and preparing region-wide technical assistance opportunities.

Summary: Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to facilitate opportunities for TLU students to grow as global citizens and civic leaders through community service and civic engagement. Build and maintain partnerships with local leaders and community organizations to support meaningful and ongoing engagement. Job Functions:• Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with local leaders and community organizations• Train and advise faculty members in the best practices of civic engagement, developing resources and visiting classrooms when invited• Supervise Center for Servant Leadership (CSL) staff, including VISTA members and student workers• Oversee annual CSL events such as Day of the Dogs, HOT Dawgs, Water to Thrive, Watoto Project, Fair Trade Fair, Glocal Retreat, MS Bike Ride, and Alternative Spring Break• Direct ongoing TLU volunteerism and co-curricular civic engagement through regularly-scheduled CSL service opportunities and the PALS program• Educate campus and constituent communities in the theology and practice of servant leadership and global citizenship• Collaborate with other TLU employees and departments to improve the TLU student experience, particularly Campus Ministry, International Education, Mexican-American Studies Center, African-American Studies Center, Women’s Studies Center, and Student Life and Learning• Manage the CSL budget and write grants to support civic engagement programming, projects, and resources• Promote and direct the assessment, evaluation, and external reporting of civic engagement at TLU

Program Development • Coordinate the MCC long-term response, and support the development of longer-term response by the affected regions. • Develop with the local communities a programmatic response that addresses racism, immigration, classism and the environment. • Develop with local communities a broad structure and program to support the affected communities. Program Administration • Supervise 6-10 staff members working in different locations throughout the Gulf Coast region. • Coordinate staff support relationships through MCC Central States Southern Tier, MCC U.S. Peace and Justice, and the MCC U.S. Executive Office. • Fiscally manage $2 million+ of designated hurricane response funds through budget projection, planning and oversight • Consider and respond to hurricane affected churches requesting financial and material/food assistance.
