    Continuing to maintain and develop Gothic which underlies many of the company's products. Working on improving the "const-correctness" of Gothic - large code-base and not a priority. Actively working on geodetic geometry support.Also work on the generalisation products and the aeronautical product from time to time. Worked on threading and performance. Was part of a team working on true 3D geometry support.Designed and implemented the SQL part of the sms_1transact extension for postgres which manages revisions of activated tables within the database. Can see differences between revisions (called checkpoints) etc.Worked on software for producing the New Zealand Topo50k and Topo250k map series.Extended the 2.5D geometry support to include "measures" as an alternative to heights.

    Started with the push to release LAMPS2 - a cartographic editor for a seamless database. Moved on to maintaining the topology engine. Moved on from that to 2.5D support - adding heights on top of the existing 2D data, viewed this via the "integration with SOCET SET". Moved on to various generalisation projects. A small team designed and implemented "Radius Topology", which allowed the topology engine to work in an Oracle database environment. Started the "Java in Gothic" to provide a Java API to the C Gothic code base.
