As a Customer Relations Specialist in the Central Baggage Tracing department, my main responsibility was to assist passengers with claims for baggage missing for longer than 5 days. During the initial conversation, I would create a claim for the missing baggage by documenting a description of the bag and its contents. Utilizing a worldwide tracing software program, I would attempt to locate the missing bag. In the event that the baggage could not be located, I would process the claim and generate a settlement for the customer for the lost baggage. In addition, I supported the staff at airport location to use the tracing software more efficiently and effectively in order to maximize customer service.As a Lead Ramp Agent, I was responsible for overseeing a ramp crew and providing them with direction and on-the-job training.
