Provides advice on the full range of highway and transport planning issues. This extends from clients' initial feasibility studies of the development potential of a site, through transport assessment as part of the planning process, to detailed design of accesses, on-site roads, off-site improvements to the public highway network and providing evidence at Public Inquiry.

Highways and Transportation Consultant providing expert advice throughout the planning process from intial feasibility through to Public Inquiry, including negociations with Local Authorities. Involved in the production of Transport Assessments, Environmental Impact Assessments and Travel Plans. In-depth knowledge of computer modelling programs used in the assessment of road traffic impact.

Sole responsibility for preparing the Highway response to strategic applications referred to Headquarters for two districts within the County, undertaking the role of a Senior Engineer.Responsibility for negotiating contributions and highway works whilst advising District Councils on progress and likely response to applications. Agreeing both Section 106 and 278 Agreements whilst instructing the County’s Legal Practice in the drafting of the Agreements.

Undertook the role of Senior Engineer for the Winchester District being the sole point of contact at the County for providing highways advice on planning applications, whist liaising with Planning and Highways Officers within the Authority.
