I am a probation officer within the Change team in the Plymouth Local Delivery Unit. I specialise in working with challenging cases involving domestic abuse and child protection issues.In 2015 I was named DDC CRC's Offender Manager of the Year.From March 2020 until June 2021 I held a split post as a Quality Development Officer. I have also recently worked as a sessional VQ3 assessor.

Prior to the creation of the CRCs and NPS in May 2014, I held a number of roles at Probation Officer grade within Devon & Cornwall Probation Trust, providing me with a broad range of experience. I started in the Courts team, writing Pre-Sentence Reports and undertaking court duty work, before moving into the Public Protection Team in December 2007 where I worked exclusively with MAPPA and other high risk cases - some with a high profile. I received the 2010 DCPT Public Protection award for this work.Following an internal restructure I worked in a generic team but with a predominantly high risk caseload profile. I then trained as a facilitator for the Integrated Domestic Abuse Programme, and delivered a number of cycles whilst continuing to hold cases and undertake court work. Prior to the creation of the CRC I worked as a PSO Development Officer and VQ3 assessor, having completed the TAQA qualification.
