My experience here at Southeast Fabricators has been a journey to say the least!! I remember when we would lay all the holes out in beams, channels, plates, and angles with a tape and soap stone. Then we would center punch the holes, either drill them or punch them on a ironworker. Always had a finger bleeding everyday from miss hitting the center punch with a hammer!!! Glad those days are gone, all of our equipment these days is all automated. CNC down loads to all machines that punch or drill. I started here in 1980, sand blasting and painting, moved to welding and fabricating, starting drawing our jobs by hand, not on a computer. I have enjoyed every minute it!! They say if you do what you love you'll never work a day in your life!!! I agree!!
