Tasked with commissioning the plant, setting a structure, training a team and becoming a fully operational plant which recently achieved the highest double A standard award in our first BRC audit.• Assisted and managed contractors during the installation of the 2 plants, ensuring work was completed safely and on time.• Commissioning of the process plant involved setting up of the plant, setting primes/purges, calibration of instruments, shelf-life trials, CIP validation, liaising with plant supplier to make alterations to software.• Created all SOPs required for the processing plant and trained out to new team members.• Recruited teams for both processing and manufacturing plants. Mainly full-time staff but have also sourced and developed a positive working relationship with an agency who provide temporary staff when required.• Gained experience of sourcing and setting up contracts with various suppliers, always negotiating the best deal possible for the company.• Worked closely with our interim technical team to help create our quality management system by writing and training out procedures and policies.• Created all documents and reporting systems within the processing plant. Ensuring we are fully compliant throughout the process and can fully trace back all finished products through our processes back to raw material/supplier.• Plant was designed to produce 200 tons of product a week over 2 shifts. I have created an efficient structure which now sees us regularly exceeding 100 tons of product per week over 1 shift.• Created the production schedule for Process and currently do all the production planning each week.• Data Analysis.
