Engaged in the private practice of law, with an emphasis on federal and state employment litigation. Extensive and successful trial experience in state and federal court in civil and criminal matters. Other areas of practice included general litigation, corporate and business formation, environmental concerns and appellate work. Represented the City of McGregor, Texas, as municipal prosecutor from 1995– 2006. Created the City’s Teen Court and organized traffic safety lectures at McGregor High School.Served as firm’s Managing Partner as size grew from a solo practice to partnership with an increase of three to fifteen employees. Created operating procedures, polices and all other aspects of the business. Handled active caseload of 175 – 250 cases.
