Designed method to eliminate SIP servers in low cost SIP phone application. Wrote requirements and systems design specification to add IP over ATM to the VideoRunner Video Distribution System.. This addition enables IP/SNMP management of VideoRunners using the existing ATM Video network. The design included an innovative method to bootstrap the network with minimum configuration. Also developed a prototype video vcheduling tool in Ruby. The tool determines the best route through an ATM network and reserves resources for future video transport. Automated CableLabs SNMPv3 tests for cable modems using Tcl. The automation covered all of the SNMPv3 MIBs as well as many standard IP MIBs.
