Admission, Review, And Dismissal (Ard) Facilitator
Current• Meeting Coordination: Organize and facilitate ARD meetings, ensuring that all required participants, including parents, teachers, administrators, and support staff, are present and prepared.• IEP Development: Collaborate with team members to develop, review, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.• Legal Compliance: Ensure that all ARD processes and documentation adhere to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and state laws, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.• Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the school, parents, and external agencies, facilitating clear and effective communication to support student success.• Conflict Resolution: Mediate discussions during ARD meetings to address concerns, resolve conflicts, and achieve consensus on educational plans, always prioritizing the best interests of the student.• Training and Support: Provide training and guidance to staff on ARD processes, legal requirements, and best practices in special education, helping to build a knowledgeable and compliant team.• Data Analysis: Review and interpret student data, progress reports, and assessment results to inform decision-making during ARD meetings and to track student progress.
