CurrentResponsible for all activities relating to Commission Panels including the administration of andday-to-day panel management of the processes for inclusion on Commission Panels, for legalpractitioners wishing to receive grants of aid.Appropriately respond to queries and provide advice and support to ensure the delivery ofcomprehensive panels' processes.Responsible for updating and maintaining the practitioner panels register, which provides arange of practitioners for clients to access for grants of legal aid, by monitoring -o panel agreement expiry dates;o appropriate clearances, registrations and certificates;o areas of law practitioners practices in, including any specialist panels; ando uploading up to date panel lists on the LSC website.Support the Manager, Legal Practice to develop and implement a range of new initiatives andprojects that will support the provision of high quality legal services by panel practitionersincluding the development of communications, training and development and outreachprograms.Responsible for overseeing and/or undertaking the audit of practitioner files in line with thePractitioner Audit Methodology and Checklist.Investigate, as required, issues or concerns arising in relation to practitioner compliance with theGeneral Panel Agreement and/or practice standards and prepare investigation reports andcorrespondence to practitioners and/or other stakeholders as required.Analyse and prepare data that will assist in the preparation of reports, papers and briefingsprovided to the Commission's Board, directorate, senior management and other relevant internaland external stakeholders.Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive information by storing all information onsecure systems which ensures data privacy.Maintain appropriate online and hard copy records for the purposes of panel files.
