Mr. Dolan has been a member of the Virginia State Bar since 1979. In private practice for 10 years following his graduation from law school, Mr. Dolan represented various Richmond area developers and builders. Later employed as in-house counsel to a multi-national manufacturing company, Mr. Dolan had legal responsibility for a broad range of corporate.

• Served as General Counsel of the Controls Division of Invensys plc, a publicly traded company on the London Stock Exchange
• Acted as counsel to Business Group President regarding worldwide strategic, commercial, governance and litigation matters, developing a reputation for solid business advice and sound judgment.
• My knowledge of the personalities and business practices was instrumental in developing contract renewal negotiating strategies.

• General Counsel reporting directly to Business Group President and Invensys Chief Legal Officer. Managed all Legal/Contract Management aspects of up to $1 Billion multinational Energy Management business.
• Presided over all aspects of Legal/Contract Management in midst of Invensys strategic conversion to Energy Management focus.
• As Invensys focused on becoming a solutions and service organization, the relationships with customers and suppliers, and as a result the contracts, needed to be retooled.
• Effectively transitioned product liability focused discipline to Energy Management business.
• In some businesses, liability moved from product defects to liability for service technicians.
• Oversaw acquisition of all Intellectual Property protections resulting from the development of new suite of energy management related products.

• Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage lean legal department while addressing all aspects of international legal matters.

• The merger of Invensys and BTR doubled the size of the company. Was appointed to lead to worldwide Controls Legal Department that included 10 professionals.
• Contributed to worldwide implementation of policies and procedures of two public companies as result of high profile merger.
