Lead Business Process Design Manager
Managing a team of 6 other Business Process Design Managers (BPDM) and acting as the main point of contact within MAB for all business process or technical work required prior to a project commencing and ensuring that BPDM resource is allocated and managed effectively to produce a documented "as is" and "to be" process, the role also involves:Definition of the business case and success criteria, and agree ownership with a senior project sponsor.Prioritise business requests to ensure the benefits are delivered in the most appropriate and beneficial sequence.Present requirements and business case to the project steering group for sign off and progression.Ensure clear communication of the requirements into a larger project team, or manage through to delivery where the scale of the project permits.Review and evaluate delivery of the initial business requirements against success criteria. Commercial Development Manager
Responsible for the definition, development and implementation of standardised processes to support the rollout of a web based supply chain and inventory management system in 24 different branded concepts. This was the first web based solution implemented by MAB and was budgeted to deliver an improvement in food and drink waste of circa £7m p.a. against the base case at the start of this project. Key responsibilities of this role were:Define and implement the approach to standardisation of all data within the system, a different approach to that of the legacy system.Devise and implement a process for electronic ordering of food and drink items and central invoice reconciliation to drive better supplier performance and deliver £1.2m of benefit in the supply chain. Incorporate the revised solution to work with legacy accounting and reporting systems.Manage prioritisation of developments and software releases and manage the testing resources to ensure Agree concept specific approaches utilising core functionality and data.Work with system end users to ensure appropriate levels of usability and interpretation of results to ensure operational delivery of the benefits case.
Menu Change Manager
In this role I was responsible for the project management of the menu development, training and launch process across 7 different concepts in the restaurant division of the company, comprising approximately 600 outlets.Significant planning and evaluation involving multiple project critical paths, spending a lot of time working closely with all the functional areas involved to achieve success. Co-ordination of resource to compilation and enter of multiple menu databases into the point of sale and stock systems and validation of these against training materials. Management of point of sale testing resources prior to menu launch.Allocation of resource to ensure that all outlets received the appropriate products, training materials and training to enable menu change.
