Directed the U.S. Army Safety Program: developed strategy, policy, regulations, risk management programs and communicated all to the Army to protect Soldiers and Civilians. Led Army-wide effort for two years that achieved lowest active duty fatalities to accident on record for FY14. Led and professionally developed 260 Soldiers, Department of Army civilian employees, and contracted civilian workforce assigned to the Army Safety Office and U.S. Army Combat Readiness/Safety Center.

Camp Humphreys, Korea

Forward stationed in the Republic of South Korea (ROK). Directed and synchronized all logistics support: transport, fuel, ammunition, supply, medical and personnel support operations for a 9,000-soldier organization. Developed and implemented division-wide supply accountability training and process improvements. Successfully worked with Department of the Army G3, G4 and Army Materiel Command (AMC) to improve division equipment modernization and readiness. Ably represented the U.S. in community relations with local, provincial and national Korean leaders (strategic impact).

-Dep CG (2010-2011): Provided standardization and curriculum oversight of all aviation training (1,500 pilots; 1,700 Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) operators; and 5,000 aircraft mechanics) and professional development/career courses for over 1,100 officers, and 1,800 Noncommissioned Officers (NCO) annually. Led multi-discipline effort that reduced average flight student wait time of 8 months to a year, to less than three weeks.-Chief (2009-2010): Executive staff director and advisor to the Commanding General: synchronized all staff actions for the Aviation Branch with multiple headquarters, to include Department of the Army and State Department. Oversaw a $738 million budget impacting three installations in three states and over 19,000 Soldiers, Federal Civilian Employees, Contractors and Family Members. Coordinated the rewrite of the aviation fleet maintenance contract, improving government oversight and contract incentives.

Forward deployed in the Federal Republic of Germany. Commanded an aviation brigade (4,000 Soldiers, 139 helicopters and airplanes) located in Germany, Italy, and Belgium. Successfully led transformation to a new, larger brigade structure, to include Soldier/Family relocation of over 8,000 people, 139 aircraft, more than $13 billion in equipment, and disposition of more than $200 million in facilities. Successfully led over 3,600 Soldiers through 15-month combat deployment in Iraq while ensuring quality of life and community support programs for 800 Soldiers and 5,000 Family Members remaining in Europe and the U.S.

Commanded an air cavalry troop (33 Soldiers, 6 OH-58A+, 4 AH-1F helicopters) responsible for the welfare, training and readiness of the troop – to include maintenance, unit flying hour and aircrew training programs - to meet go-to-war Operations Plan 33001 General Defense of Europe requirements in 1st Armored Division area of responsibility. Pilot and pilot in command of an OH-58A+ Aerial Scout aircraft
