Material Handler 2
CurrentJob Description: Material Handler 2: I worked in shipping doing small pack where I packed small to bigger boxes in an over pack box or boxes for domestic and international shipments. For some of this shipments if it required it I would TSA screen the material and sealing the boxes off with blue tape. These would be products that are going to certain countries that called for screening for bombs or other harmful items that could be in the product. From there I would ship off the item to FedEx, UPS, DHL extra. I would also pick items to go on to orders and take them to small pack or to be put onto pallets. I would then load these pallets on to trucks using forklifts. I got trained and a licensed on a small and large walkie rider, a small and large sit down forklift, a Raymond high bay forklift, a stand up forklift, and last of all an electric push forklift. I would also work on other projects could CPI projects which depending on how big the project was and how much it would save money for the company we would be awarded bronze, silver, and gold awards. I also would work on end of quarters four times a year every three months doing over time of up 16 hours at the most in a day getting out as much product as possible until that month ended on the last day at midnight. Every day I would use a Clear Orbit gun to pick, pack, and ship confirm orders as well as count inventory and putting away items that came up from receiving. I would also to use Oracle throughout the day to work on orders, check there status, back ordering, and consolidation.
