Created the first in-house ski and Snowsports shop as part of the Four Seasons Hotel brand. Built from the ground up, my duties included development of guest standards relative to the Four Seasons model, writing all training manuals, purchasing, designing and set-up of a ski demo center withing the hotel and integrating all billing and equipment reservations into an existing data and guest management system. In addition, I personally interviewed and hired the original staff.Once completed, my duties included department oversight, guest relations, staff scheduling, heading-up staff meetings, corporate group relations & coordination, acting as the hotels official liaison with the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, its ski patrol, ticket sales and snowsports school.As with every project I've worked on, the staff is what made it work. The team that ran the "Base Camp" operation that first season set a very high standard of service and dedication for the Four Seasons guest. The model we established has been copied by other hotel brands in Utah, Colorado and Canada.
