Current· Manages and oversees VA’s complex eDiscovery program from the identification, collection, and processing stage through review and production in compliance with all technical and legal aspects of the ESI Discovery and Disclosure program. · Directs the work of team members and has full responsibility for directing tasks and responsibilities, and for balancing the workload assigned to employees on the ESIDD Team within the Office of General Counsel (OGC). · Coordinates with and advises the VA Office of Information Technology (OIT) to ensure that the IT infrastructure at the Department supports efficient, timely, and cost-effective eDiscovery. · Exercises latitude to take initiative, organize workflow, establish priorities, and exercise professional judgement in overseeing the eDiscovery Program, including the review and delegation of work assigned to subordinate employees · Applies extensive business knowledge of program/project management principles, leadership, direction, and oversight to subordinate staff, as well as, other program related groups, and oversees VA's eDiscovery program and associated activities. Serves as the subject-matter expert in all aspects of eDiscovery including projecting short-term and long-term needs and justifying resources. · Applies a detailed knowledge of the technical aspects of VA's e-Discovery program, and a comprehensive understanding of the objectives of OGC and the agency. Demonstrates the ability to effectively integrate the work of multiple organizational units/projects/programs to successfully accomplish mission objectives. Oversees, researches, prepares, and presents reports and briefing materials at senior-level meetings regarding the work supervised and any related program topics.
