I am checkout trained, can rumble, face up, follow the cold chain procedures. I also have experience preparing meat and fish on the fish counters which is a customer facing role and am also being trained to be a baker as well as being on the instore management training scheme.I can merchanise promotional ends following a planogram and to company specifications and make decisions as to which items can be altered when stocks are low. I started on frozen, and from my experience working with Grapeland, I have gained more experience carrying out tasks on the Wines and Spirits department including: accessing spirits in the lock up; tagging items to improve security, recognising recommendations for customers as potential sales opportunities, keeping promotional ends and towers visible and well maintained in different store locations.I currently work on the Meat and Fish Counter, this job involves setting up the meat counter and following health and safety procedures. I am also trained to prepare various cuts of meat and fish according to customer specifications and can drive sales with cooking recommendations as well as the extras provided (free butter and cook bags). I can apply what I studied at A level and in university by recognising customer buying trends and requesting that either more of less of an item be ordered to reduce waste. I have a good rapport with the Dairy team, so can often utilise promotional ends for improve sales. I maintain a good customer base.I currently work on the wines and spirits department 3 days a week in my local store after a transfer, I utilise my knowledge of wines along with my work ethic to maintain stock levels and build customer rapport. My role involved opening and closing, till reconciliation, stock replenishment, meeting and exceeding sales targets by developing product knowledge to drive sales.

I provided security at checkpoints checking the correct tickets and scanning members of the public in and out of the venue, as well as searches of members of the public. I provided protection in the pits and in front of the stage at Glastonbury and the Isle of Wight festivals as well as at Big Brother.
