Current● Performed standard engineering assignments often representing a significant portion of a larger project and selected engineering techniques to solve problems and make design decisions● Represented the Certification team in both internal and external design reviews● Compiled FAA certification documentation for submission to commercial OEM’s and regulatory agencies● Reviewed and approved design changes from a certification perspective● Lead test activities, including Environmental, Electrical, Flammability and Structural testing● Administrated certification efforts across multiple types of electrical galley insert equipment - Beverage Makers, Coffee Makers, Espresso Makers, Tea Makers, Water Heaters, Beverage Cups, Convection and Steam Ovens, Microwave Ovens, Air Chillers, Refrigerators, Wine Coolers● Provided technical leadership for a small group of temporarily assigned engineers and technicians, both local and global to gain PMA and TSO certification from the FAA● Ensured successful completion of multiple assigned projects at various phases within budgeted time and cost constraints● Led efforts to establish standard working process for Test Readiness to ensure consistency in preparing for qualification and engineering testing across an entire portfolio of interior products.
