Lead R&D and Project Team activities in support of Technology Innovation and New Product Development. Manage people, internal and supplier schedules and budgets to align with both company and external (customer) objectives; Coordinate project activities from ideation and simulation through fatigue and environmental testing to low-rate introductory production within AS9100 framework; Prepare and deliver regular progress updates to Sr. Management and Corporate Leadership. This role leveraged the TRL (Technical Readiness Level) innovation framework and extended it to commercial project management and customer application development.

Lead R&D Engineering Team. This role focused on discovery and new product development related to fatigue and damage tolerance and resulted in a strong intellectual property portfolio; Coordinated F&DT testing via in-house lab as well as contractor labs and major Aerospace OEM and US Government labs; Accountable to Sr. Management for demonstrated innovation against aggressive schedules and budget. Developed and implemented a formal Technical Readiness Process (TRL) innovation framework.
