- Contract manager in asphalt for the lower South Island of New Zealand- Manage delivery of city council contracts of $7,000,000 - $8,000,000 annually, working closely with the Dunedin City Council civil engineers - Foster positive internal and external relationships to enhance delivery of contracts- Responsible for all aspects of projects: sidewalk, curb and channel, cycleways, parking lots and private driveways- Estimating, programing and planning of operations- Resourcing of contract: coordinating of crews, plant and management of subcontractors- Implement health and safety, traffic management and environmental management plans, providing input as needed- Use quality assurance plans to meet contract specifications- Financial management: approve bills, purchase orders and payroll, forecasting, monthly reporting to regional manager and Dunedin City Council to meet agreed financial targets- Team leadership: recruitment, training and development of 18 staff
