The data-driven design methodology, tool-set and preliminary infill tools developed at Common Ground Studio were repurposed and further developed within Lots Co as a complete solution for residential development. To date, I've worked alongside the team to create a framework that is the foundation for the Lots Co Process as well as refining development-economic systems, tools and user interfacing. My responsibilities now involve with the further development and exploration of spatial design technologies and how they can optimise residential development outcomes.

Within Common Ground, I've worked on projects in New Zealand, Australia, Middle East, and China. I have been involved in the full range of projects undertaken by the company over the years and am still involved at all levels, from management and consultation through to detail design. Over the years I've been part of the shift in company focus from predominantly high level planning projects to those requiring considerable multi-disciplinary, integrated input in infrastructure detail and development economics.In the last few years, I've led the Common Ground design team, focusing in particular on the delivery of higher quality, intensive urban housing and affordability solutions. My strong understanding of the tension between land use planning, architectural design and development economics allows me tochart the optimal solution for clients quickly and helping deliver efficiencies for all project team members.A number of specialised data-driven design tools have recently been developed by my team. One of which has become another business, Lots Co. Lots Co combines planning, infrastructure, landscape, architecture and urban design in a way that delivers more robust and detailed development schemes at low cost and in record time for clients.
